The Original family cemetery dates back to the 1780's and was donated by David Sims Jeter along with funds to support the cemetery. A stone wall surounds the plots and a fence is located in the front with the family name on it. In the front of the cemetery outside of its walls is a single stone header with the words "Jeter Cemetery" on it is inscribed.
