UNION - Anne "Annie" Bolton Jeter, 84, of 122 Cherokee Ave. died March 14, 1998, at her residence.

A native of Greenville, she was the daughter of the late June Lawrence Bolton and Letisha Adams Bolton. 

She attended Converse College and was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Junior Charity League, Junior Book Club, and Union Cotillion Club, and was active in the Chamber of Commerce, scouts, PTA, and community activities. 

Survivors include her husband, Russell Jeter; three sons, Russell L. Jeter of Beaufort, Robert C. Jeter of Isle of Palms, and William B. Jeter of Union; and five grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Gary Byrd. Burial will be in the Jeter Family Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeter Cemetery Fund, c/o C.B. Jeter, Jeter Agency, 100 W. Main St., Union, S.C., 29379.
